Just a
reminder about when and how to submit your work!
The submission deadline is Friday 3rd
May.
The instructions
below are also available in the Brief tab of this module blog.
All
work is to be digitally submitted on your blog, including any paper-based
drawings and designs. A link to your blog should be added to a document file
and submitted via SOLE (along with a OneDrive link to your Maya Project).
Your
Maya Project files (in the correct
Maya directory structure) should be uploaded to your Onedrive and shared
with me j.pardo@worc.ac.uk and the link added to the document file that contains your blog address.
Submission Checklist
The Blog or Online Portfolio must include:
• Finished renders of each of
your 3d artefacts that
clearly show the model from the top, front, side and perspective
views.
• All research work, including
your own drawings/designs as well as reference material from other
sources of influence &
inspiration (art, animation, games, graphic novels etc.)
• Regular written posts
reflecting on progress (approx. 1000 words).
• Final reflective summary on
your project (500 words).
• One of either: a ‘turntable’
movie of the model as a Vimeo or youtube link on your blog OR 3d
model viewer (sketchfab or marmoset) embedded in your site.
Items to be submitted:
1. Maya Project containing final models ONLY in scene files (*.mb)
and textures.
2. Your Blog (as above).
References
All references to websites,
journals, books and other publications should be included on the blog
with Harvard
Referencing.
